Hello, I’m Dr. Harshitha N J, a Medical Oncologist practicing at Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru and Mysuru.

My journey in medicine has been driven by a simple purposeu2014to help people facing cancer with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. Every day, I meet patients and families who are not only dealing with a diagnosis but also trying to understand complex medical information during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Over the years, I realized that many patients leave the clinic with questions that cannot always be answered within the limited time of a consultation. They search online, only to find information that is confusing, incomplete, or sometimes inaccurate.

That realization inspired me to create Dr. Harshitha Oncology.

This platform is dedicated to providing reliable, patient-friendly cancer education. My goal is to explain cancer, treatments, side effects, nutrition, survivorship, and supportive care in simple language that anyone can understand, while ensuring every piece of information is based on current medical evidence.

I believe that knowledge empowers patients, reduces fear, and helps individuals and families make informed decisions with confidence. Through articles, educational videos, and future AI-powered learning tools, I hope to make trustworthy cancer information accessible to everyone.
